  • Survival Food Discs may be used as a dietary weight loss supplement while providing the necessary requirements for protein and fats to protect the body from cannibalizing itself.

5) How many bottles of Survival Food Discs should I order? In our opinion, you should have a minimal supply of Survival Food Discs available at all times in your

  • home
  • car
  • office
  • RV
  • boat
  • camping equipment
  • hiking equipment, etc.,
  • All as a means of disaster preparedness, much like batteries, drinking water, flashlight, well you get the idea, Survival Food Discs should be included in all you disaster preparedness plans. We recommend a minimum of one bottle of Survival Food Discs for each person in your family or party, in each of three places, your home, office, each vehicle, boat , or RV. If you have a second home you should also have have a stock of Survival Food Discs there as well.

If you are concerned for long term survival in disaster or food shortage situations we recommend having two bottles of Survival Food Discs per person for each month you want to be prepared for as a minimum.

Here is a chart for easy calculations on the minimum number of bottles of Survival Food Discs recommenced per person required for a specific amount of time. (Assuming the Survival Food Discs are the sole means of sustenance provided)

6) What makes the Survival Food Discs better than prepackaged dehydrated foods or bulk food storage programs? Well simply this can be answered in two ways.

First, both dehydrated food sources and bulk food sources assume a rather large quality fresh water supply is readily available in order to prepare and consume them. Survival Food Discs require no fresh water before consumption! This means minimal fresh water storage needs. In times of catastrophic circumstances, quality fresh water may become extremely rare, making the dehydrated food sources and bulk food sources alternatives to Survival Food Discs no choice at all.

Second, Survival Food Discs require very little space to store compared to huge volumes of space required for for the other two alternatives, both dehydrated food sources and bulk food sources. Imagine the volume requirement for a backpacker for one month of food storage, or two bottles of Survival Food Discs, each the size of a military water canteen!

7) What was the basis for developing the Survival Food Discs? Quite simply, the original Survival Food Disc formula was developed from the needs of the early space program to provide a quality diet, the most nutrition in the smallest possible volume.

8) Why do I need to have any Survival Food Discs on hand? Well the simple answer is you don't! UNLESS you fit into one of the above mentioned categories or situations and know beyond a shadow of a doubt you never will. Or if you have no concern for the pain of suffering famine can cause you and your loved ones should a catastrophic situation ever occur. Call it cheap insurance against starvation if you want.

9) How do they taste? They are very palatable and have a very pleasant taste. They also come in chocolate which is very good also.

10) How long have Survival Food Discs been around? Survival Food Discs were originally formulated in the 1960's for the space program.
